The Aecre team work hard and are really passionate about what we do, and we have an open-door policy for others to join us. If you're a passionate beekeeper, excited by our values, and keen to further yourself, then we'd love to hear from you.
We're keen to work with beekeepers at any level in the craft, from those who call it a hobby with 2 hives, all the way to commercial beekeepers with 100's of hives.
We offer a number of options, from Aecre partner beekeeper to permanent positions, please see below for what might suit you;
Aecre Partner Beekeeper
As an Aecre Partner Beekeeper, you can continue your beekeeping as you currently do, and any excess honey that you produce we buy from you at an agreed cost. No production targets or pressure - You do what you do best, and we'll help profile you and your unique honey.
We're passionate about the beekeepers behind the honey, and promote the benefits of Single Origin Honey, so we only jar by the location and beekeeper it came from to highlight their very own flavour profiles, rather than blending to create a bland generic honey flavour. With this, anything we buy from you will be in Aecre branded jars but labelled with your name and rough geographic location (e.g. Lewes), you will also have your own beekeeper profile within the Aecre website (See example), Aecre will also run campaigns to promote local British honey with you behind it.
Along with this, you will receive additional benefits, such as;
- Access to the group of Aecre Beekeepers for support
- Industry discount on beekeeping equipment
- Opportunities for funding which can be used towards training or new equipment
- Free access to our Sussex based extraction facility (Opening soon)
- Social events
Every so often we recruit permanent beekeepers to join our team, we consider beekeepers at all stages in their journey and can provide all levels of training, we look for those with a desire to learn and are passionate about the beekeeping craft and our environment.
We open up roles for both part-time and full-time beekeepers, both of which would be around our Sussex based apiaries.
Occasionally we look for remote beekeepers to join as a permanent beekeeper, these roles are for experienced beekeepers, you'll receive all the equipment and tools to start an Aecre apiary, where you will manage the apiary on our behalf, and with the option to manage your own team in your region as you expand.
Currently we have no permanent positions available, if you'd like to express your interest, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
